Well, just read a blog from someone that made me inspired to write. Even just one single sentence a day and you can see how your entries evolve. But of course, I need to write something that made my day great.
Hmmm, what do I write for today?
Today my drive to write was ignite. I feel good about that. Tomorrow is a brande new day. :)

While waiting for daddy inside the Mercury Drugstore yesterday, I tried to amuse H. I carried him so he won't play and mess around (of course, he didn't like it). Then he noticed the word Master (Eskinol for men) and read it. Then my eyes saw the line that says, "Wash your face daily with Master" I asked him to read it so he would calm down. I was not expecting that he could read it, but to my surprise he was able to read it!
Oh, son, you are such a wonder boy from God! :)

We were at Paseo again for the nth time.
H had his second haircut in a barber shop. I had some negative thoughts that he might dislike it for he did when we brought him to the salon in AUP near the store. But, thanks goodness, he sat cozily on a high chair for a good haircut. :) It's air-conditioned, probably the good reason why.
Then we went to the wet market for some fish and headed forth to Mercury Drugstore for H's milk and to National Bookstore for a book about planets. Yeah, we have found a small one, but not a good one. But good enough for H, maybe. I just hope he would enjoy it. To South was our last destination.
This day-out was satisfying for we were able to get the stuff we wished for H to have.
Good enough the rain didn't pour and the sun still managed to appear amidst the gray clouds.

It thrilled me as I hear H says the words, "I love you, Mommy" with hugs and kisses even without being asked. There's so much joy in my heart. I am but glad that he learns how to be affectionate and expresses it to us (his parents), but more to me than with his dad. hehe..
At this time, he starts to sing some songs alone but not yet complete and not yet fluent. I will wait for that day when he would be able to sing one song in full rendition. He is singing ABC song, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam, Fun in the Sun (Barney) etc.. :)

my first devotional article, published!
Yes, it was published in this devotional book for 2012. After a long wait of three years.
And here is the full text:
God Talked to Me
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not into thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Prov. 3:5,6
“WHAT WILL YOU do in Thailand for one long month?” the woman with high-pitched voice at immigration questioned. I tried to find the right words to answer her query, telling her that I'd be visiting my friend in Thailand and would be touring around the country. I thought that was the best answer and the quickest way to get boarding pass stamped. Unfortunately, she didn't stamp it, and asked me to talk to the boss. The boss asked me same question, and I answered with respect. When she asked if my friend had invited me to go there, I said yes. She then asked me to show her the invitation letter stating that she really had invited me.
I had nothing to show, for Joana, my friend, didn't send me any letter. She had just called me and asked if I was interested in working in Thailand. So nowI texted her and told her that she must send an invitation letter by fax to the immigration office or they would send me back home. I felt a bit downhearted and closed my eyes and prayed, What's going on?
I was startled when a woman beside me began to cry. Evidently she was facing the same situation as I. The boss was watching the two of us.
Joana texted that she was sending the invitation, encouraging me not to worry. Wait and relax, she said. I took a deep breath and got out my Bible, opening it to the book of Proverbs. I read today's text, thinking and praying about what it meant. As I opened my eyes, I saw the boss watching me. She came slowly toward me and asked if my friend was sending the letter. I replied that she was.
It's a good thing I arrived at the airport three hours before my flight, I thought as the waiting continued. I asked God again, Lord, if it is Your will for me to be in Thailand, help me meet this challenge.
Finally the boss told me to go to the counter, and the agent stamped my boarding pass. I thanked the boss and headed for my plane. I texted my friend again, telling her that I was boarding. She misunderstood my text and told me to plead with immigratin to allow me to go without the letter. I then realized that God had intervened. Joana hadn't been able to fax the letter. As I took my seat, I closed my eyes and thanked Him for a miracle.
I wish I could change its title. But it was good enough, somehow. :)

It's been a while since I blog again. So many things that made me busy the past holiday season. We had a few travels going in and outside the vicinity of the city. It was tiring but it was also good. We had fun visiting relatives and friends.
2012 brought us challenges, trials, fun and pleasure and yet God still went with us all the way til we reach 2013. I am sure He will be with us again this year and forever more! :)

isn't it craziness when you ask someone to give something to your neighbor when you can do it yourself? hay..i just don't understand these old folks in the neighborhood..i don't want to do it but for the sake of respect i did..i don't know how the old man felt but he said, "thank you", smilingly..but as i looked at him, there was a sarcastic smile as if to say he didn't like to accept the two pieces of ampalaya from mam brill.. :(

At 21mos, H recognizes some words he constantly encounters. He identifies each word by its first letter. He learns it fast without a doubt. We are but amazed. H is just one of the many amazing babies of God. I could not say more.
These are the words: big, small, house, horse, hug, ball, Mama, Daddy, cat, dog, go, stop, red, bee, happy, ten, bus, boy, zoo, moon, sun, yes, no, apple, box, banana, egg, van, up, down, truck.
The list may go on and on as the days go by. I'm pretty sure he could read hot or hat. These words are not yet in the flashcards.
I hope and pray that he will grow and learn more things about life--a life in Jesus. :)
